AFCAR business partners are organizations who are committed to the development of a new generation of leaders. They are organizations that have agreed to provide internship opportunities for AFCAR clients as a way of providing them with experiential opportunities for professional development.

Terms and Benefits

We are looking for organizations that are willing to provide challenging and meaningful internship opportunities to individuals who have completed the AFCAR experience. Your partnership will provide this new generation of potential leaders with a) the opportunity for on-the-job learning, and b) the support they need to prepare for successful professional careers.

In doing so your organization will benefit from:

  • Opportunity to build leadership capability with new recruits
  • Access to a pool of diverse candidates
As an AFCAR partner you agree to:
  • Interview referred candidates and select the individual of your choice
  • Provide a 3 -6 months internship for the selected candidate
  • Pay compensation based on market value of the position and job responsibilities
  • Provide appropriate supervision during the course of the internship
  • Submit feedback and evaluation at the end of internship
AFCAR will agree to:
  • Pre-screen and match suitable qualified talent with your organization and industry
  • Provide on-going coaching for the duration of internship
  • Submit feedback on candidate work experience at the end of the internship
The employment agreement for interns will be between the organization and the intern and subject to standard employment policy and procedures of the organization.
